ADVERTISING
Our advertising agency, with the guidance of all the other CCPI committees, meets the needs of CCPI’s promotional and advertising requirements. The agency works very closely with the Executive Committee as well as the Board of Directors to insure that we obtain maximum marketability of our products.

AGGREGATES
The mission of the aggregates committee is to establish and promote professional standards in products, services and processes to better serve the construction industry of Hawaii and our communities.

COORDINATOR/NEIGHBOR ISLANDS
The coordinator of the Neighbor Islands Committee is rotated between our board members from the neighbor islands of Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui. The function of this committee is to promote all concrete products as manufactured by member companies on the neighbor islands.

HOUSING
The mission of the housing committee is to promote the usage of concrete and masonry products in the construction of residential homes in the Hawaii market. Accomplish goals through the education, advertising and personal contacts with owners, developers, financial institutes, and contractors on the advantages of concrete construction. Trade shows and seminars will be the main tools in promoting these direct benefits of concrete to the homeowners.

MASONRY
The objectives of the masonry committee are to promote the usage of all concrete masonry products manufactured by the members of CCPI. These objectives are accomplished by sponsoring technical and promotional seminars; direct sales calls to design professionals on specific projects; review concrete masonry specifications; distributing promotional literature of the National Concrete Masonry Association and maintaining a close relationship with the Masonry Institute of Hawaii.

PAVING
The paving committee focuses its promotional and technical support to the State Department of Transportation and the Federal government in the development areas of airports, piers, highways, bridges, and other related concrete pavements or structures. Similarly, assists the municipalities in the design and construction of concrete streets, bus stops, curbs and gutters. Also in the promotion of cement treated base for all highways and soil stabilization for secondary roads such as agricultural lands.

PRECAST/PRESTRESSED
The mission of the precast committee is to promote precast products as manufactured by local producers such as architectural precast, structural precast, and prestressed concrete.
The promotional efforts involve technical seminars for architects, engineers, and contractors; preparation of product specifications; and assistance in research of technical information pertaining to these products.

SAFETY
The objective of the safety task group is to address issues/concerns for the mutual benefits of our member companies in the concrete and aggregate quarry facilities operations.

TECHNICAL
The mission of the technical committee is to continually inspire the awareness and improve the competence of basic and innovative concrete technologies in all departments (specifiers, contractors, developers and owners) of the construction industry. The objectives are to develop and arrange various seminars and/or other educational vehicles that accomplish our mission statement; to coordinate the ACI Field Technician - Grade I Certification seminar and examination; to assist other associations and agencies to accomplish goals that are aligned with our mission statement.
